PLEASE READ THE *ENTIRE* QUESTION BEFORE ANSWERING. I need no rude remarks because someoen decided against reading any more than the title. I've been trying to figure out send/recv in Winsock (using C/C++) for the past couple weeks... I decided to grab the example from MSDN (for send() and recv().. accept() also gave me an error, but i forgot what that was), but I get error 10061.. I'm trying to send the data straight to 127.0.0.1, but it refuses... Can anyone tell me why, how to fix it, or... something? Give me an example the successfully sends "Hi" to myself? And please don't tell me that an example would fail because it needs to connect, because I said a successful example.
